Having aspirations in life is helpful. When properly balanced, they offer a little excitement or "juice" to motivate us and spice up our lives. They also teach us to regulate ourselves so as not to take on too much. Joy is how we know how much stress is too much. We notice how happy we are in life. People unaccustomed to high stress become anxious and worried. So, in order to get to that sweet spot, it is best to manage expectations. Equally, most who live lives without challenges tend not to be happy either. That "juice" helps us love and appreciate beauty more. Let's make this new year a year of joyful challenges. If this calls to you, I have some ideas to help you meet your aspirations.
Together, let's explore the lands that shared their secrets and medicines with the people of that place. Let's meet with the people born of the life force that exists in those areas. If you are interested in being more than a tourist and engaging in the wondrous energy that is available to you, I am putting together a series of trips that are poised to experience just that. Also, after four years of work and numerous revisions, Forty Four Prayers is ready to be published in print and electronic form in January.
All going well, "John Maberly" will be in June of 2025.

We all have been through so much in the last five years. Let's expand on all we have learned together and begin walking towards our healthy relationship with the only planet on which we know we can live safely. As Rumi says, "The breeze at dawn has secrets to tell you. Don't go back to sleep. You must ask for what you really want. Don't go back to sleep."
As always, More to Come,
Blessings and Happy New Year,
Mark
